Long Contracting successfully carried out these works in 3 stages allowing the client to continue to operate at full capacity. Intricate works to the main warehouse included the removal of existing internal precast panels opening up the floor area and allowing the client to work more efficiently. The new 25m long canopy and roller door enhanced operational facilities further. Installation of precast wall panels increased the working height of the docking warehouse and brought it in line with adjacent building. The slab area was extended and two 8-meter-high speed doors were installed, which exited to the new canopy. The result increased the operational space of the docking warehouse from 380sqm to 800sqm. Landscaping works complete the project and included new steel boundary fencing with automatic gates, a rain-garden to the rear of the property and a new asphalt carpark. A hugely successful project, completed in 23 months.
