Scotch College – Head of House

Scotch College Heads of House Refurbishment was the renovation of the school’s existing Languages Centre into new Home Rooms as part of the school’s plan to provide students with new Homeroom facilities. Main challenges onsite included working within a fully operational school environment and incorporating a state of the art fit out within the existing building structure. Despite COVID restrictions, Long Contracting coordinated with the school to adapt a staged handover that suited the school’s requirement. As the main activity space for students, we delivered a high end and comfortable space ready for the 2022 cohort to move in during their studies at Scotch College.

Long Contracting were engaged to transform an existing Bunnings warehouse into a state of the art Bowens store. The scope of works included demolition of lightweight internal structures, erection of a 9m high cool room panel wall to divide the existing showroom, new joinery throughout, internal and external painting, boom gates and roller doors, an additional dispatch structure and landscaping. The works were completed in 10 weeks.
